In this Compression and Archiving directory, you will find tools that
extract (or create) files from various archive or compressed formats popular
for file exchange on DOS and Unix platforms.  Macintosh utilities are
included in the separate Macintosh area, because they are not generally
interoperable between platforms to the extent of the DOS and Unix tools.
