Those sites reject all communications with the real host 3/29 (us), to prevent confusion internally on their end. What I am suggesting is that the high numbered host that the G.N. Hack sites are mapping onto 3/29 should instead be mapped onto 1/29, so that my host 3/29 can talk to everybody. Sites that had this trouble include NPRDC and UDEL (UDEL has just recently fixed their system). For those of you who have not heard of us, we are HOST BRL-BMD, 3/29,SERVER,UNIX,PDP11,[BMD70] -Mike ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
