Adruxj.115 net.unix-wizards utzoo!decvax!ucbvax!mhtsa!eagle!ihnss!druxj!neal Thu Jan 7 10:09:46 1982 csh for 4.0 unix We're running btl 4.0 unix, and I'd like to run the closest thing possible to 4.1BSD csh. Can that csh be compiled in such a way that it doesn't rely on the extra signals for suspending a job, etc, or (even better) can the new signals of 4.0 be used (although I guess that would require a newtty driver). I'm most interested in stuff like cdpath, quasi-sharing of ENV and csh variables, and the directory push-pop. Currently we're running something similar to 4.1BSD oldcsh.
