Its showing its own signs of age, however, with a backed up toilet. The alternate toilet consists of blue bags, like those used in the Apollo missions. Other minor problems detected were a possible slight nitrogen leak in the cabin, the broken wrist camera, the cabin again was too cold at night, condensation on the back window, the tape recorder for the experiments went out, and an environmental package would not function on the shuttle's power. However, none of these are major, and officials expect to have a full seven day mission. On the night side, Lousma and Fullerton again heard static, from areas over China and Iran. NASA has not yet confirmed the origin, but said it was over the Asian continent. Recordings were made and scientists will investigate them. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
