This is an open invitation to all who wish to discuss the matter of Terra Forming. Anyone who is interested in this or other related topics are welcome to send mail to me directly. If you do not already know what this "Terra Forming" is, I will explain. Some futurists believe that is would not be impossible to change the climatic and biological conditions of a planet such as Mars to a condition where human life may exist. Examples of the steps needed to accomplish this are, the promotion of bacterial life on the polar caps of Mars, the possibility of warming the planet by darkening the surface, and the promotion of liquid water by a combination of the above. Obviously, many of the planets in our solar system are not nearly suited for an attempt at this great task. However, tomorrow will come and accomplishments of this nature will be attainable. send mail to: Wesley Kaplow c/o cmcl2!isaacson ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
