Pournelle Harry gets carried away sometimes. He also told of the chap who did the Michaelson Morley experiment hudreds of times and got all kinds of relative motion. I asked Bob Forward about that, and Bob said, "Yep, he did the same experiment with the same crummy equipment and kept getting the same erroneous results..."
