We have encountered two problems and have two general questions. 1) When we try to retrieve several articles authored by the same person refer comes back with: "Too many hits" and a list of the titles. What we want are several full references. 2) When we try to retrieve many articles (all in a given subject, say) the program barfs because several of the buffers are configured too small (TLEN for example is set to 400 as distributed, but there appear to be others). What happens if I need several pages worth? What parameters need to be enlarged? This isn't obvious. 3) What happened to pubindex(I)?? We can't find it. 4) Is there a simple way to format references without searching them? Amalia Grunfeld chico!esquire!cubs45!amalia 212-280-5517 P.S. If anyone has any other online bibliography/reference systems, I'd be interested in hearing from you, especially if they're available for free. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
