I got this today: and i don't know what to do. maybe someone does...... >From uucp Sun Feb 28 16:11:50 1982 >From uucp Sun Feb 28 16:12:34 1982 remote from whuxlb >From chico!teklabs!tekcad!ellis Sun Feb 28 16:10:29 1982 remote from harpo To: teklabs!chico!harpo!whuxlb!eric Subject: netnews glitch I just read an article you submitted to net.jokes, and it came through with the (infamous) ARPAVAX glitch (apparently) of losing the first line(s) of the message body. (Message body is appended to this missive.) Other messages, however, have come through ARPAVAX without this bug (which was subsequently fixed), so I suspect that one of the machines in your path got a copy of the ARPAVAX netnews code after the bug was introduced and before it was fixed. I'm not sure how one goes about tracking down this problem, but I'm hoping that if I tell you, you will be able to nail it.
