It might be better if you could use wildcards like *.unix-wizards or
even if the "descriptors" normally joined by "." were considered to
be an unordered set.  It might also be nice to be able to do the kind
of thing you can do in all the real bibliographic retrieval system
by saying things like tax! to match tax, taxes, taxation, taxonomy,
etc. or t! to match telecom and taxes, etc.
