Aeiss.125 net.news.b utzoo!decvax!ucbvax!ARPAVAX:mhtsa!ihnss!npois!eiss!jtb Thu Dec 24 08:54:54 1981 BUG in readnews There seems to be a bug in the '-' option to readnews. Here's an example: ... Newsgroups: net.news (129 lines) More? [ynq] n net.jokes.q: Subject: more Helen Keller humor... (10 lines) More? [ynq] - net.news: Subject: proposed USENET policies (129 lines) More? [ynq] n net.unix-wizar: Subject: rm02 or rm03 driver (8 lines) More? [ynq] - net.news: Subject: proposed USENET policies (129 lines) More? [ynq] q ... When I said 'n' to the USENET policies item the second time, it should have gone to net.jokes.q, which I hadn't seen. Instead it went on to net.unix... Then a '-' should have backed up to net.jokes.q, right??? Also, it seems that people aren't using the 'f-' (etc.) options correctly. I suggest that the usage is correct, the IMPLEMENTATION is wrong! After having just read an article its THAT one I want to respond to, not the one I haven't seen yet. How about having it return to the SAME header after reading an item, or having it DEFAULT to '-'.
