A List Of the Major Classical Composers


        In the following you find a list of the major classical composers.
        This list has been compiled because it is a handy thing and a
        nice quick reference if you listen to some composer and you
        want to find out something about its 'neighbours' - I keep
        it always near to my radio.

        The list has been compiled from a German music lexikon (my native
        language is German) - so English and German spelling of names may
        differ.

        Please forward any additions / proposals / errors to me -
        I have not checked the list ten times - so it may contain
        errors.
