The two largest can actually be considered as semi-serious musical instruments. Each has a piano-sized keyboard that spans four octaves, runs on 110V, contains a a small speaker, and has a jack to connect it to an amp, hifi, whatever. The more expensive of the two has a (very corny) rhythm synthesizer, the less expensive one does not. I have seen them selling for anywhere between 400 and 800 dollars. Four octaves is enough to play many things from the Well Tempered Clavier. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
