VIC-20 Query

I've pretty much decided to buy a VIC-20 this summer, but before I do, I'd like
to hear from other people who have used one.  Has it performed as expected?  Arethere any problems you have had which you think potential buyers should be awareof?  How much did you pay for it?  Does your local computer store service it or
do you have to send it back to Commodore for repairs?  

In general, I'd like to know your over all impression of the machine.
