Re: Solution(?) to oldie but goodie
sqrt(-1) = i sqrt(1) = 1
sqrt(1/-1) = sqrt(-1) = i
sqrt(1)/sqrt(-1) = 1/i
1/i = i (????????)
OR i**2 = 1 (??????)
I guess sqrt(a/b) != sqrt(a)/sqrt(b) where imaginaries are concerned.
(Did I do that right?) Could someone explain.
