[It is a very simply stated (really non-mathematical) UNBELIEVEABLY ANNOYING paradox, which Martin Gardner explored in Mathematical Games (Sci. American) a few years back.] The "solution" (not really the right word) has never been firmly decided upon, to my knowledge. I would be interested to hear anyone's comments and/or ramblings. By the way, anyone opposed to signing articles? The once-reccomended practice seems to be disappearing. Its interesting to know name and affiliation of people you're reading. - Glenn Golden (Bell Labs) ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
