We have arranged one of our machines to send out certain control sequences on a disconnect. The data are sent to the t-box but the localnet is far to busy putting out the closed session message to send our final stuff. To put a delay in the dropping of dtr is a big job on this particular system (not UNIX) and we don't feel that we should have to do so. The t-box firmware should not scrap data just because the line is being dropped. This stuff needs to be done in the proper sequence. Grrrrr. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
