(Believe it or not!) Setting "xyzzy on" will cause a "call" command to repeat indefinitely instead of aborting if the called PCU does not answer. This makes it easier to go around the coax system measuring levels with a spectrum analyzer. Be careful with this command, though; you will lock up the channel, keeping others from using it. It is probably best to do any testing on an otherwise unused channel. Credit to Fred Sigurdson at Western Electric for this information.
