The first brontosaurus ever discovered stands in the Peabody Museum of Yale University. Back when I was a freshman, they celebrated the 100th (?) anniversary of the beast with a limerick contest. I submitted the following two entries, scribbled on the back of a brown paper bag. Not bad for a freshman. Can't understand why they didn't win.... * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * At Yale there's a "bront" made of bone, Which, when struck, sounds a musical tone.
