They have been completed and handed over to the Soviet military launch people. Subject to naming by their builders, AMSAT is referring to the three new spacecraft as RS-C, RS-D and RS-E. Each will carry a Mode-A type transponder, and uplink and downlink frequencies are as follows: RS-C: 145.86-145.90 uplink, 29.36-29.40 downlink RS-D: 145.91-145.95 uplink, 29.41-29.45 downlink RS-E: 145.96-146.00 uplink, 29.46-29.50 downlink There is also expected to be a "robot", an automatic QSO machine, on each of the three satellites. Uplink and downlink frequencies: RS-C: 145.82 -> 29.32 RS-D: 145.83 -> 29.33 RS-E: 145.84 -> 29.34 The Robot will answer any call directed to it, e.g., "RS0 RS0 DE KA9Q KA9Q", and give a signal report! It is unclear how the spacecraft will deliver QSL cards, however. Note also that the Robot uplinks on RS-C and RS-D are each 5 khz away from the Uosat-Oscar-9 general beacon. I wonder how long it will be before the Soviet satellites "work" Oscar-9....
