Just because someone posts or laughs at a racist joke does not make them a racist, as long as they can also laugh when the joke is on their own ethnic group. If the jokes offend you, you don't have to read those newsgroups. I wish people would refrain from trying to impose their own moral values on the rest of the net. It will inevitably lead to censorship which most of us are against. Besides, we already had this discussion once before, and that is precisely why net.jokes.q was created. GREG (ucbvax!menlo70!hao!woods) P.S. I have been reading net.jokes and haven't seen anything even remotely racist in months. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
