They have high accuracy (about 1 mil) and produce very clean results. There are several models avaible. We have an 8 color one with tracker feed paper and auto-cutting. We can produce multiple plots w/o changing paper. There is a newly anounced two color one for low bucks (about $1500 I think). They are all available with RS232 interfaces, which is what we got for our Vax.
