The standard briefcase terminals are the TI Silent 700 series.
The 745, about 14 pounds, has a 300 baud accoustic coupler built in.
costs about $1300 to buy, $65/month to lease. Called "silent" becuase
xxxxx because the original models were -- print heads burned out so fast
that TI added a fan, giving a "fairly quiet" 700.
  The 787 is a new one: 1200 baud internal modem, cost ~~ 2300. ANybody
out there tried one yet?
	Execuport also makes terminals similar to the 745, and a few other
brands are around.
