It shouldn't be necessary to use the temporary file with several
hundred n's and a q to dump all news into /dev/null.  At least according
to my documentation for readnews, the -p option prints all selected
articles to the standard output with no questions asked.  This is
perfect for dumping articles to a printer or a null file.
