Re: new newsgroup for word processors
The reason people favor short names is that in the B version 
of netnews each group gets a directory, and the length
of the name is therefore limited by the 14 characters that
UNIX allows for a name.  Although net.wordproc meets this
limitation, there is no room to extend the name with subgroups.
