Aesquire.124 net.general utzoo!decvax!duke!chico!esquire!psl Thu Aug 20 16:47:55 1981 explanation/disclaimer The recent item from me that starts out "How much are Macro & Linker" is actually a piece of mail (private) that I sent to Steve Dyer at Harvard. Unfortunately, I used his Arpa address (it was in response to a netnews item from there). I now realize that this act, coming from a lowly usenet member makes me vulnerable to any and all indignities that Murphy's Law prescribes. So far I have received nine identical messages from the Usenet/Arpa gate- way saying that all Usenet mail is being refused and reiterating the text of my offending message. I thought the subject had died, but now discover that some kindly soul has taken the effort to help me get the message across. Unfortunately, it won't make much sense to anyone but Steve Dyer. While we're at it, I've been involved in a lively one-way conversation with a few people on Arpa who keep asking me "Why don't you answer? Where's the information you were going to send?", etc. Well, to thos people -- I AIN'T NEVER GONNA SEND IT! I CAN'T. If you send me your U.S.Snail address or if you get onto Usenet directly I'll be glad to.
