Here are the anwers to the Star Trek trivia which I posted a while ago.
Sad to say, nobody answered, which was rather surprising in view of the
deluge of mail I received on the first quiz.  I certainly sympathize
with the gentleman who did the Superheroes quiz!

(a) celebium
    Radioactive substance which killed Janice Lester's staff in
    "Turnabout Intruder".
(b) cordrazine
    Drug which McCoy accidentally injected himself with, causing him to
    go temporarily insane in "City on the Edge of Forever".
(c) di-kironium
    Main constituent of a cloud of vapor with a "sickly-sweet smell"
    that went around eating human hemoglobin in "Obssession".
(d) jasmium
    When alloyed with steel, this makes "the hardest substance known to
    Federation science".  Used in the construction of Federation bases
    bordering the Neutral Zone which were blasted by the Romulan ship
    in "Balance of Terror".
(e) kironide
    A substance which when ingested by humans gives them
    psychokinetic abilities in "Plato's Stepchildren".
(f) neutronium
    Material that comprised the hull of the planet-killer in
    "The Doomsday Machine".
(g) pergium
    Element 354, used as a power source, mined on colony attacked by
    the Horta in "The Devil in the Dark".
(h) retalyn
    Antidote for the plague ravaging the Enterprise, found on Flint's
    planet in "Requiem for Methuselah".
(i) sirian glow water
    Liquid used to polish flame gems that Cyrano Jones was pushing (in
    addition to tribbles) in "The Trouble with Tribbles".
(j) thuragen
    Klingon nerve gas, a derivative of which was used to combat the insanity
    caused by the "weak fabric of space" in "The Tholian Web".
(k) tranya
    Drink offered by Balok to the Enterprise party in "The Corbomite Maneuver".
(l) zeenite
    Antidote to a botanical plague, mined by the trogs in "The Cloud-Minders".


Bonus question: Name the six Federation starships which were
destroyed or had their crews exterminated.
Answer:
   Defiant - vanished into interspace in "The Tholian Web"
   Exeter - crew turned to crystals in "The Omega Glory"
   Intrepid - eaten by the planet-sized cell in "The Immunity Syndrome"
   Excalibur - destroyed by M5 in "The Ultimate Computer"
   Constellation - destroyed by the planet-killer in "The Doomsday Machine"
   Archon - pulled down by Landru a long time ago in "Return of the Archons"
