He's an authority on Rubik's Cube (among other things). I have notes on his talk, but no time to preen them totally, so here are some tasty morsels: He has a catalog/price list for puzzles, books, badges, and coloured car stickers. The catalog even advertises a videotape you can buy by the 13 year old Limey who's got the bestselling book. It also announces "Cubic Circular" (clever, eh?), a newsletter. 4 issues/ $5 to: David Singmaster Ltd Purveyor of Perplexing Puzzles 66 Mount View Road London N4 4JR England Telephone 01-348 7266 He said that a 4x4x4 cube would be out this year and that Rubik's Book (My Cube) would be out soon in English. The whole talk was interesting, though his theoretic discourse at the tail end got a bit slow.
