This makes quitting vs. getting killed a non-decision (Do I get killed and lose 10% or do I quit and get into the top 10.) It strikes me that one should not be allowed to quit if one is actively engaged in combat (including being transfixed.) Theoretically, if you are say trapped in a passage between two critters or transfixed by a floating eye, it *was* your decision (somehow) to get into that position. You should only be allowed to quit with your full gold value if you decide to quit while not under attack. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
