Maybe we will eventually be required to use sirens and bubble gum machines.
(although I'm friendly with a couple (limping) cops that would argue their
effectiveness)

My strategy is to appear invisible to traffic and always stay in front of
them, and to pass them before they know it.  I may be paranoid, but I KNOW
they're all aiming for me, so if they don't see me ...   Of course this
tactic requires that I anticipate (correctly) their every move.
