Grand Marnier liqueur - (q.s. to cover). At least an hour before serving, clean the strawberries of all greenery and bad spots. Put them in a shallow dish, and pink them lightly all over with a fine fork. Pour on sufficient Grand Marnier to cover them in a shallow bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour. When ready to serve, drain the strawberries into individual, chilled serving dishes (glass if you have them). Enjoy, but don't drive for a while. Alternative use: Throw away the strawberries and drink the marinade. Some people have been known to serve this over ice cream and/or under whipped cream. Please don't! The marinade can be used for a pleasant orange/strawberry flavor in your next set of crepes flambees. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
