The recipe given failed to mention that olive oil is an essential ingredient along with the vinegar. This soup is basically oil and vinegar with tomatoes and cucumbers. Anything else is strictly decoration. The cucumbers must be diced, as should be the tomatoes. For a thicker soup, use a little tomato paste. This is strictly one-arm cookery, and not much can go wrong, so have fun. Be very careful if you decide to use jalapeno (sp?) peppers for heat. It won't take much. Serving note: You should use toasted cubes of bread on top. Gives a nice extra crunch.
