A few gasps were heard when the nose rose for an instant, but then it rolled to a perfect stop, right on top of a line drawn on the runway. It was towed within a few hours to a hangar, to protect it from the winds, where it will be mated onto a 747 for its flight back to KSC in about 10 days. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
