Explosives were installed -- some to break holding bolts on the pad; others to be detonated by the range safety officer (with the possibility of escape by the astronauts) if the shuttle veers towards a populated area. The shuttle will once again land at Rogers Dry Lake at Edwards Air Force Base with a 15,000 foot strip at Cape Canaveral in sight for the fourth and final test flight. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
