As we started porting our own programs to 2bsd, some of them behaved strangely. Most exasperating was output getting all intertwingled, coming out at the wrong points. After a fair amount of searching, I have realized that in the distributed stdio, stdout is buffered! This is not mentioned anywhere. It would be good to mention vital little tidbits like this in some of the documentation that accompanied the distribution.
