Karl Nyberg uses this method for INFO-LAW mailing list and works well. I am unalterably opposed to digested mailing lists. 2) Responses to messages like how to get a 68000 C compiler will be collected and put in publicly accessible files which anyone can FTP. People who can't FTP them can mail requests to the mailing list, which I will intercept, and then in reply, MAIL the contents of the file back to them. 3) People who absolutely insist and getting immediate delivery mail, and want to see all the worthless messages like Please add or drop me from the list, etc, can/could be accommodated. But by default, everyone will be subjected to method (1) [above]. I'll be implementing this later this week, until then, please bear with me. P.S. We are also working on the MMDF verboseage problem; Please bear with us on that one as well.
