When it is over 20kbytes the uucico program often times out. Has this problem been observed elsewhere? The cure is surely to reduce the number of directory entries. One possibility would be to put the "C." and "D." files in separate subdirectories ("C/" and D/"). Unless someone provides an alternative uucp Steve Daniel will probably go ahead and put that change in.
