From: Michael Muuss We have a "Version 7 Compatability Library" which allows us to compile unmodified V7 source code and run on our (High-Performance) V6. We have all the good utilities up and running, no sweat. Anybody who is not coding using LONGs when appropriate is either (a) patient, or (b) strange. We have disentangled the BBN 96-bit leader code from BBN UNIX, and (now that the bad bugs are out) are exceedingly happy with it (at least the kernel part). Anybody who does'nt mind paying BBN $200 might as well just use this... -Mike ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
