Each licensed site is permitted to get a set of books (there are two). Last I heard, the books could not be copied in any part nor seen by non-licensees. BTW - Irma Biren has been promoted (she deserved it) and the new contact would be Francine Glick. It's also interesting to note that even BTL employees must get director approval to receive the books and even then the books are property of btl and will be surrendered upon demand (like when you no longer need them suposedly). Each book issued to a btl employee has a serial number and the employee's name so they can find them. ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
