Aucbvax.6898 fa.info-terms utzoo!decvax!ucbvax!info-terms Sat Apr 24 00:06:47 1982 needed: decent hard-copy terminal >From TMPLee.DODCSC@MIT-MULTICS Fri Apr 23 23:57:27 1982 I've tried in vain to find the answer to my question by lookin gthrough the INFO-TERMS archives. (can only get MIT-MC to disgroge COMMON; TERMS 1; CPR; etc. doesn't work at all) so, I'm resorting to the broadcast -- I need to replace my terminal, for a complicated set of reasons. For another complicated set of reasons, the requirements I have are -- Must be -- hard copy almost correspondence quality (i.e., Xerox copies quite legible) Highly desirable -- very rugged (almost as reliable as on old wire-service machine) uses fan-fold rather than roll paper Would be nice -- if you can read 99% of what you are typin g while you type it portable Oh yes, almost forgot to mention -- MUST BE typewriter style, at least to the extent of upshifting to caps rather than downshifting to lc. Please reply directly, rather than to to INFO-TERMS (I'm not on the list, and don't really want to be) any andvise out there? thanks, Ted Lee ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
