The price for an H19A terminal dropped $100 to $595. The price of a Z19 (wired) is still $895, but now includes a dust cover, 9 month carry-in maintenance agreement, and membership in the Heath User's Group. (There are still ads offerring the Z19 at $675 or less from other companies.) The upgrade kit to convert an H19 or H19A into an H88 (without disk) has dropped from $695 to $395. Interestingly, I no longer see the H88 mentioned as an option in the H89 pages. The H89 has risen from $1695 to $1895, but it also changed from 16K to 48K of RAM, and you get to select any two from a list of ten pieces of software. The list includes HDOS, CP/M, Microsoft BASIC, FORTRAN or COBOL, their word processor Magic Wand, and their spreadsheet SuperCalc. -WBE ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
