It has numerous features I like, such as the following: 1) Eight pages of memory, 2) APL/ASCII character sets, and the ability to switch between 4 different character sets (some user defined, if there is a prom burner available), 3) Ability to define up to 4 rectangular windows anywhere in the 8 pages of display memory, with different devices sending output to different windows. 4) 19 programmable function keys, with both regular and shifted codings, with 1K bytes of programmable memory for starters (more if you are willing to give up some display memory). 5) A "latent expression" which is stored in non-volitile memory, which executes whenever the terminal is powered up or reset. 6) Two modes of display: 24 lines by 80 characters or 24 lines by 132 characters, switchable under software or keyboard control. 7) The usual cursor addressing, reverse video, blinking, half-bright business. The price for this terminal is about $1,700. P.S. Several concepts can be connected to a single terminal such as a DECwriter for hardcopy. A contention box is available to ensure that only one Concept has the printer slaved at any one moment.
