I am interested in page lay-out and document presentation, and would appreciate any pointers to relevant information or to similar systems which you might be able to provide me. My thesis is "Design and Implimentation of a Low Cost Flyer Design Package." Basically, the user inputs raw text and an advertising flyer is created. S/he may give a banner line, blocks of information (dates, prices, lists, etc...) or describe a graph. The program should then layout the information following accepted graphic design procedures. The computer handles selection of font types, size of text, layout, borders, and graphic symbols (bullets, arrows, etc...). The finished product should be photo-ready for reproduction. I hope to use an Apple II with and Epson printer. -- Ron Studley -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- gopher://quux.org/ conversion by John Goerzen of http://communication.ucsd.edu/A-News/ This Usenet Oldnews Archive article may be copied and distributed freely, provided: 1.
