I like your idea however, how about writing it in something more transportable than LISP? I want to use it on my home VAX (which doesn't have a LISP). Alyson -------------------- Hmm. More transportable than Lisp? What's transportable depends a lot on what you are on. If I write it as an RMAIL option using Teco, non-DEC users will bitch that they can't run it, if I write it in Lisp, people with strange/non-existant versions of Lisp will complain. How about this, send me/the list your favorite language/meta-editor to implement it in. I'll add up the results, write (or at least try to write) it in that language, and supply the algorythm I use so anyone who was missed can write their own undigestifier. While we're at it, how about sending along a wish list of 'neat' features (summary, automatic replying right, makes your coffee...) you'd like this thing to have.
