I didn't see one face I recognized in the whole crowd. It would be interesting if anybody else on this list was there (whom I don't know by sight yet). I wasn't much impressed by his lecture and answers to questions. He seemed to be more politiking than really answering questions. When mathematics didn't work out his way, when his way would have predicted a discrepancy of a factor of 2 or more in GNP, he did a handwave of "well, it's close" and in reply got grumblings that being off in GNP by a factor of 2 isn't close at all.
