Looks like the people at my ISP managed, after just a few weeks (!), three emails and two phone calls, to open their firewall so that my server can be reached on port 23 from the internet. And now their customers are certainly all vulnerable to all sort of trojans, exploits, viruses, worms and similia that will spell the worst ills to their IT infrastructure just because a moron wanted to let people play stupid telnet games on his louzy computer! > Like the talker if there is interest I will work on it more, for now > it is pretty small but not so small that one couldnt level up a bit and > have a useable character to play further. Alas, I wished I had more free time to both set up a better Gopher and a MUD server, plus beeing able to play those games! > It is the SMAUG code base and > one I was quite fond of long ago :) Anyone wishing to play there feel free!
