The major changes in this release: * Improved handling in the client of \n.\n in text files. * Updated documentation * Now builds and installs on Solaris. (WHEW!) Thanks to Don Fike for typescripts and bug reports! * gopherd.conf generated on the fly based on autoconf. * New doc/PLATFORMS file reflecting state of support for different OSs. Gopher now builds & installs on FreeBSD, NetBSD, Linux, and Solaris. Any other platform testers are welcome (VMS anyone? ) Full changelog is available from gopher://quux.org/1/devel/gopher -- John
